How to setup your QX.net DSL account on Microsoft Windows XP.

  1. Click on Start and choose Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Network Connections. (if your screen looks different, click Switch to Classic View in the upper left pane).
  3. Right-click Local Area Connection and choose Properties.
  4. Select ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ and click Properties. If you have a Dynamic IP address or use a Router, set ‘Obtain IP Address Automatically’ and ‘Obtain DNS server address automatically. If you have a Static IP address, set ‘Use the following IP address’ and enter your IP address, Subnet mask, and Default gateway. Select ‘Use the following DNS server addresses’ and enter the Preferred DNS server 64.191.128.101 and Alternate DNS server 64.191.128.10.

Congratulations, you are now ready to use your new Internet Connection. Double-click the new shortcut on your desktop and click Dial to get connected and begin using the Internet.
